Purchasing Manager

Job Description Transcom is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to help oversee all vendor contracts and purchasing for North America and Asia across all departments. This is a great opportunity for a high-energy, results focused professional looking for a challenge within a fast-paced environment.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Process Delivery, you will have the responsibility to review and negotiate all vendor contracts across North America and Asia. Once the contracts are negotiated you will work with the various department for ordering and management of deliverables.

You possess excellent relationship building skills as you will interact with stakeholders across the company and all external vendors. You possess experience with purchasing across multiple locations; Transcom North America and Asia has 10000+ employees and 18 locations.

This role will be located at our office in Manila.

Responsibilities

• Strong vendor relationships to ensure we are realizing savings. The goal is to look for savings of $2 million dollars in 2010. This includes building leases, IT and Telecom contracts, Facilities, Software, Travel, etc.
• Proactive review of all contracts, analyze all vendors to look for savings and efficiencies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines
• Create an environment consistent with company values and high employee morale.
• Proactively provide updates to the internal stakeholders on successes and challenges in reducing costs.
